The Project

The existing conservatory was removed and replaced with a warmer, more practical fascia-style orangery, designed to create a comfortable living space that could be used all year round.

The new orangery was opened through into the kitchen, creating a much better connection between the existing house and the new extension. The design included brickwork to suit the property, aluminium glazing, a roof lantern and improved insulation throughout, transforming the area from a cold conservatory into a bright, modern family space.

Water-fed underfloor heating was installed to the orangery, controlled by a smart thermostat for efficient everyday comfort. As part of the wider works, a new aluminium bedroom window and aluminium French doors to the kitchen were fitted, giving the property a more consistent and modern finish.

Externally, a large new patio was installed to improve the garden area and create a better flow from the house to the outside space.

The Result

The finished project provides a warm, light-filled orangery, improved kitchen access, upgraded glazing and a much more usable indoor-outdoor living area.
